Planning a wedding wasn't that hard. Hosting a wedding in secret was. Maryse and Robert knew nothing about it. Absolutely nothing. But, it seemed that luck was on our side. Maryse had gotten a call from the Clave that they needed to go back to Idris for a week, which means we don't have to tell them about the wedding. Maryse announced it in the morning and left hurriedly to pack their bags. Everyone sent them on their journey and gave them farewells. The moment they were gone, Isabelle dragged Simon to the nearby church to organize the place for our wedding. Isabelle had become our unofficial wedding planner. I was worried. Very worried. Worried that it may all go wrong, worried that there might be an attack. I sighed as we went back to the Institute and got my phone out to call Alice. My dress would have to be made by me. When I told her what I planned to do. She agreed and told me she'll arrive in New York in 25 minutes. I drew the dress out first. Golden yellow with a little lace and sequins for the top. The same golden yellow with swirls on the satin material for the bottom and sequins to the waistband of the dress. It looked great to me. Alice arrived soon enough, knocking on the door loudly. I jumped out if the open window and landed right before Alice with only the gate separating us. Her jaw fell open as I let her in. However, it was not the Institute but how I looked. "Trini! Oh my gods you look so different!" She gasped. I shrugged. "Lets go in." I pointed to my room and me both jumped onto the window ledge and into my room. I led her to my design and showed her the sketch. She used a number 2 pencil and lightly sketched a light yellow layer underneath the layers of satin. It was perfect in case of an attack. Just push off the satin and it becomes a bulletproof cape. Perfect! I picked up a great length of cloth I bought secretly and handed it to her. "How about this as the fabric?" I told her. She beamed.
